Our search for a Dittner replacement is commencing. We were really stoked about this guy. But according to his manager he already has a sweet gig. This is harder than we thought it would be. The search continues.

Greenland 2 News ALERT...BREAKING NEWS...BREAKING NEWS...BREAKING

BREAKING NEWS

Greenland News 2 is the first to report that musical sensation "the_rel_project" will no longer be a world rock and roll attraction. Just minutes ago Greenland News 2 learned, and reported first, that the "the_rel_project" and estranged organist Roger Dittner have parted ways. Roger leaves with the band name and all action figure rights. The remaining members will keep the unreleased recordings for the fascinating and enigmatic "music_for_house_cleaning" but the name of the band is now owned by Dittner. In a last "up yours and sit on a nail" move the now unnamed band has released another cut from the album that can be freely downloaded by any fan with a 14.4 modem.

Because if for not the fans... this world would be a hellish Miley Cyrus apartment in a Jack Johnson building next to the David Archuleta freeway. But we are not bitter. Soon we will be the talk of all the media outlets. Stay strong fans. The next few days will be hard. But WE will get through it. It's time for a change. A change that WE... AS A ROCK AND ROLL NATION... can believe in. We will arrive back at HQ soon. Wait for further posts. Stay vigilant. Until then, THIS IS THE FIRST SONG ON OUR NEW ALBUM... Dittner has arrived

Finally.
The local news station is reporting that Dittner and his publicist have finally arrived. We can't wait to get all of this petty industry stuff behind us. Some people just don't get it. It's all about the music. The music is what it's all about. And action figures. We just want to get home. Back to HQ. Finish our gift to music history.

Still waiting.
So we have been playing some of m4hc for the locals. Give them a thrill. Spreading the love. Stuffing the sock. Painting the baby. If there was only some way to document this adventure with a report made like a movie. Like a movie report. That would be so awesome.

Still here. Still waiting for our meeting with Dittner. It has, however, given us the time to work with our media people. They have been doing some fantastic work. See above. We think that this album artwork will be on par with some of the most influential albums of all time. ie: The Beatles's-Sgt. Pepper, The Who's-Who's Next and Nirvana's-Never Mind. You can take that to the bank. Peace.

It's almost morning here

And Quaatsut has summond the band for a meeting with our media department. We have no idea why Quaatsut chose to outsource our media development to Diskofjord Inc. of Greenland. But hey... anything to get us away from the studio for a bit. You know... explore... relate... see polar bears. But it's not all fun and games. We need to review the artwork for m4hc. Plus they said they needed to talk to us about some other things. It's kind of odd that they have also summond Roger and his publicist. Like we care. He left the band. He can go sit on a nail. Anywho... maybe we will post some pictures of our mini vaction here in really blue Greenland.

The Verdict Is In

Prince really IS a prick!
Greetings Fans.
Our team of attorneys have given us the go ahead to use the letter "P" again. We had already started thinking of a new name for the band. But now we don't have to worry about it. Well... we thought we didn't have to worry about it until we got a call from Roger's publicist. Who said that the bands name may be in jeopardy anyway. The gist of the matter is something about his ownership of 50 percent of the_rel_project. Which includes the name, the album and the action figures. We believe there must be some type of loophole but our attorneys are still working on it. Until then...

And we were like....Sweet! But then he *ut his attorney on the line and it was all bummersville from there on out. Evidently, from this day forward, the mighty *urple one is suing everyone on the internet for using the letter *. We are calling our attorney to see if this is even *ossible. We think he is just *ulling our leg but we don't want to take any chances. So until then... *eace out!

Roger Dittner leaves the_rel_project

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Roger Dittner -the masterful organist for the_rel_project- has left the band. Dittner's publicist said "Roger wanted to spend more time alone with his organ." Before becoming a member of the_rel_project, Dittner was a solo organist. His hand made X867 Laser Organ was quite the crowd pleaser. The remaining members of the_rel_project have not spoken to the press about Dittners leaving. A source close to the band believes "m4hc" will still make the release date because it is now in the mastering stage. However, now that Dittner has left along with the X867, a tour will be impossible. 

Sneak Peek Release

Hello fans. 

Our attorney has given us the go ahead to post a few "sneak peeks" of m4hc. Prince has already called to have them taken down. Our attorney has verified that there are no Prince lyrics, loops or dupes in this album. Therefore... Prince can go sit on a nail. And then we were like... Wow Prince called. Sweet!

Final Studio Days

Hello to all the fans.
We have been working really hard to complete "m4hc" before our Fourth of July release date. We have been in the studio all weekend. Tweaking, tweaking and more tweaking. I think one of our mixers was accidentally unplugged while we were working on a special hidden track--which will be a big surprise when you notice that we have hidden a track on m4hc--but that's a secret.
